Mr Podesta's Gangsta Dictionary

Ed Podesta — Sun, 2007-12-02 09:17

After a recent discussion in our diploma group about the impenetrable language used by some (many) of our students, I came home to finish marking paper one of my year 11's mocks.  All of them, and I should emphasise that this is no exaggeration, every single one spelled 'gangster' as 'gangsta'.

So, it seems that there's a real need for students and teachers to know what each other mean.  As a result I offer this dictionary as a (developing) tool for enabling this cross curricular communication.

Without further ado, here's the first few words.
